Pyrite Sun

A super cool and beautiful pyrite sun aka pyrite disc. These pyrite formations form when the pyrite is forced to only grow outward within the void of a rock. Pyrite suns are probably the favorite pyrite formation by collectors and everyone should have one in their collection. Depending on regions the pyrite suns can vary in texture and finish and also in layering. This particular piece has a few depth layers making it look a little different from others. They only flaw this Pyrite sun has is the little void from which it was removed from it's host rock so it's not a break it's just a void. This is a good value.
